Visit the Junior School and Nursery

We offer a number of ways to visit and experience life in the Junior School and Nursery – these include individual tours and open events. We look forward to welcoming you to see how we inspire every child and create a lifetime of opportunity.

Tours

We would be delighted to take you on an individual family school day tour. Appointment bookings can be made by contacting the Head’s PA Miss Andrea Mariet at marieta@stockportgrammar.co.uk or calling 0161 419 2405.

Year 3 and 4 Personalised Tours

Join us this January for a relaxed and welcoming Junior School open session. In 45 minutes blocks you’ll meet the Head, take a guided tour, and see how our pupils learn and play. With only a handful of families in each group, there’s plenty of time to ask questions and get a real feel for our school community. Please select your time and date via this booking form. Please be aware that spaces are limited, and early booking is recommended.

Open Events

Our open events are designed to show you and your family important aspects of life at Stockport Grammar Junior School.

You will also be able to see how our latest projects, a new purpose built Nursery classroom and additional outdoor play and learning spaces, create a sense of adventure and exploration for our pupils.

On 20th September 2025 we held a Nursery, Reception and Years 1 to 4 Open Event.
