Old Stopfordian President
Stockport Grammar School is delighted to appoint Arian Nikkhah (OS 2008) as Old Stopfordian President for the March 2025 to March 2027 term.
The Old Stopfordian President represents the interests of SGS alumni, encouraging the development of stronger connections with and between alumni and the School. Not only does the Old Stopfordian President represent alumni at school events, they work with the School to ensure that SGS remains a community for all, for life.

A Former Head Boy here at SGS, Arian is from a family of proud Old Stopfordians. Since leaving SGS in 2008, he has become a parent, donor and career mentor at the School.
A committed member of the Model UN Society while at SGS, Arian started off his professional career working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in both London and Geneva.
After his initial career in International Relations, Arian is an entrepreneur, having ran a fashion start-up, and now managing his family’s IT business that is based in Stockport.
