Friendships blossom on First Year residential
As the school year drew to a close, First Years embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Tawd Vale Activity Centre – a place where adventure met nature.

This end-of-year experience was more than just a getaway; it was a celebration of their first year at Senior School and a chance to bond beyond the classroom.

Tawd Vale proved to be the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with the simple joys of outdoor life.

Surrounded by woodland and fresh air, the centre offered a safe and exciting space for pupils to be themselves, try new things, and build confidence through shared experiences.

The range of activities on offer was impressive. From climbing trees to rafting canoes, each challenge encouraged teamwork, resilience, and plenty of laughter.

Whether they were navigating obstacle courses or paddling across the lake, every moment was filled with energy and enthusiasm.

The pupils were fortunate to enjoy fantastic weather throughout the trip, which made the outdoor adventures even more enjoyable.

The sunshine added a vibrant atmosphere to the experience, allowing the adventurers to make the most of every activity and spend quality time together in nature.

This residential wasn’t just about fun – it marked a meaningful milestone. After a year of growth, learning, and transition into Senior School, the trip gave pupils a chance to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead to Second Year with excitement and confidence.

The Tawd Vale trip gave pupils a place to laugh, learn, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Here’s to the next chapter – and many more adventures to come!
