    Battlefields trip highlights the importance of remembrance

    After a pandemic-enforced break, the annual Third Year History trip to the battlefields of France and Belgium made a return during the Autumn half-term break.

    Each year Sixth Form students are invited to submit proposals for the Albert Johnston Travel Award. This year’s standard was exceptionally high and the judging panel therefore decided to crown joint winners! Congratulations to Tuguldur Zolzaya and Charlie Harrison on their success.

In the space of one week, we were delighted to have wordsmiths David Farr, Ian Bland and Matt Dickinson impart their wisdom to appreciative audiences.

    England and Great Britain Hockey player and Old Stopfordian Holly Hunt (OS 2015) returned to Stockport Grammar School to help inspire the next generation as she led a training session for the SGS Senior and Under 13 hockey teams.
