New Sports Pavilion
Following on from the successful planning permission application in 2024, we are delighted to announce that we intend to begin construction this summer on our new sports pavilion, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
In July 2026 we plan to demolish the old pavilion and by the Autumn Term, contractors will have started on site to build our £6 million new Sports Pavilion, with completion scheduled for Autumn 2027.

This pavilion is a symbol of ambition and progress – an investment in every pupil’s potential and a commitment to excellence that will stand for generations. It will create opportunities for every child to be active, build confidence, and feel part of a vibrant community, while showcasing talent and inspiring ambition.
This investment reflects our shared values and ensures world-class resources that nurture individual potential for generations to come.

This planned project reflects our five strategic objectives:
- Opportunity and Ambition: The pavilion will create outstanding opportunities for current and prospective pupils to pursue their sporting ambitions, providing facilities that match their talent and aspirations.
- Supporting the Individual: Every pupil will benefit from a space designed to nurture personal growth, wellbeing, and confidence through sport.
- Striving for Improvement: Replacing the existing pavilion with a state-of-the-art facility demonstrates our dedication to continuous improvement at our school.
- Looking to the Future: This development ensures that generations of pupils will enjoy world-class resources, keeping us at the forefront of educational provision.
- Embedded in the Community: The pavilion will offer a versatile space that strengthen our ties with the local community, creating opportunities for shared use and collaboration.

We recognise that this development proposal comes at a time when many families are feeling the impact of economic pressures and we are mindful of this. The cost of the new Sports Pavilion will be managed responsibly; importantly there will be no impact on school fees and no additional financial burden placed on families.
