Giving Day 2026 a resounding success
We are delighted to share the wonderful news that our first ever Giving Day has been a resounding success, thanks to your generosity and support.
The Giving Day, which took place over 36 hours on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th March, saw an incredible collective response from parents, Old Stops, pupils, staff and the wider community in support of our Bursary Fund.
We received more than 307 donations, with many people making their first ever gift to SGS. Together, we raised an incredible £135,114, which far exceeded our expectations.
We are so grateful to the Old Stopfordians and to the Stockport Parents’ Association who provided matched funding.
