A mixed group of Lower Sixth and Fourth Year students headed to London on an exciting trip that saw them visit the Houses of Parliament and the Supreme Court.

Stockport Grammar School hosted its annual Science Competition this July, challenging visiting Year 10 pupils from local high schools.

34 Fourth Year and Lower Sixth Art and Textile students visited two galleries in Yorkshire to gather source material, critical studies and research to incorporate into their portfolio work.

This year’s two-day Higher Education conference gave students in the Lower Sixth the chance to find out more about the opportunities available to them after they leave Stockport Grammar.

At the end of May, 44 Fourth Year historians spent time exploring Berlin, with a focus on the IGCSE course; Weimar, Nazi and Cold War history.
