Duke of Edinburgh’s Award achievements celebrated at annual Presentation Evening
The commitment, resilience and accomplishments of pupils completing their Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) were proudly celebrated at the school’s 18th annual Presentation Evening.
The event began with a relaxed drinks reception in the Sixth Form Common Room.

Guests then made their way to the Main Hall, where compere David Kent offered a warm and enthusiastic welcome.

A series of short videos followed, featuring pupils speaking candidly about their journeys through the DofE programme.

From skills and volunteering to adventurous expeditions, they shared memories that highlighted the spirit and teamwork at the heart of the scheme.
The evening’s guest speaker Ben Heason, a professional climber, adventurer and motivational speaker, delivered an inspiring address before presenting certificates and special awards to the recipients.

To close the event, Miss Laura Turner, the school’s DofE Co-ordinator, reflected on the pupils’ remarkable achievements.

She praised their dedication, enthusiasm and determination throughout the year, emphasising how proud the school is of every participant.
