Year 3 children had a fantastic time on their residential trip to Tattenhall.

They were lucky to enjoy beautiful sunshine throughout the visit, which made the outdoor activities even more enjoyable.

The pupils took part in a range of exciting challenges, including tree climbing, the zip wire and Jungle Camp. Throughout each activity they showed excellent teamwork, resilience and determination, encouraging one another and celebrating each other’s achievements.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they stepped outside their comfort zones and embraced new experiences.

The group loved working together on a variety of outdoor team‑building challenges and there was plenty of fresh air, laughter and memorable moments.

The instructors were outstanding, providing encouragement, support and enthusiasm every step of the way. Their guidance helped the children feel confident and safe while having lots of fun.

The children embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, and it will be a trip that will be remembered for a long time.

Carter said: “I liked it when we climbed the big tree because everyone was motivating each other” while Sienna added: “Jungle Camp was fun because we made hammocks and a shelter and the grown‑ups threw water over us!”

Lottie commented: “I enjoyed the zip wire because you got to work as a team and when it was your turn everyone had your back.”

Samuel added: “I liked when everyone cheered me on the zip wire when I felt scared.”
